At Angkor Kampuchea Dentist we take hygiene and safety very seriously and operate to the strictest of standards. All of our tools and instruments are purchased from the EU, Japan and the US, ensuring they are of the highest quality. All surfaces, tools and equipment are thoroughly sterilized before and after procedures and all staff follow strict hygiene protocols.
Tuttnauer Class B Autoclave
For sterilization of instruments, Roomchang uses Tuttnauer Class B Autoclaves. An Autoclave is a pressure chamber used to sterilize equipment and supplies by subjecting them to high pressure saturated steam at 121 °C (249°F) for a minimum of 20 minutes, killing any harmful bacteria which may be present.
The Tuttnauer Class B Autoclave conforms to the European Union Standard EN13060, which designates autoclaves as Class “B”, “S” or “N”. Class B autoclaves fulfill the strictest definitions of this standard and incorporate better steam penetration through fractionated pre-vacuum technology and are strongly recommended for the sterilization of dental instruments, especially hand pieces.
